GOLFING ACHES & PAINS? WE'VE GOT THEM COVERED

With the Ryder Cup about to get underway the sporting attention will move to golf.

So, keen to enter into the spirit of things our North View clinic reception has acquired...wait for it....a putting 'green'. Let it never be said that life is dull!

So, anytime you're passing by or if you have an appointment with us and would like to practise your putting come in/or early and have a go!

This would now seem the right place to put something about back pain and golf.... I'm sure it's no surprise to know that golfers don't just suffer with golfers elbow but also with back pain. Good core muscles, spinal posture and sufficient abdominal, especially oblique muscle control are essential to limit back pain with this sport. You may well find that any shoulder, elbow related problems also significantly improve with this too, improved posture often leads to a better shoulder position too, which in my experience is often a contributing factor to elbow problems both in golf and tennis.

For more information either email me: jemma@thephysiplace.com or come along for your free 20 minute postural assessment - see the blog for dates.
